Below is a copy and paste I did today. I wonder if this is legitimate.

No, it is not real. What it purports to do is to convert the water into a flammable liquid via electrolysis. Then you can burn the substance produced, essentially reversing the reaction, and turning it back into water. The energy put into converting the water is greater than the energy released by combustion. So there are two things:
1) You lose energy in the overall process, and
2) The battery, for obvious reasons, cannot keep up with the electrolysis needed to run the vehicle, as it is then having to both run the vehicle AND provide the overhead to convert back and forth.
This is analogous to running a generator to produce electricity to power a motor to run the generator to produce electricity…. Or a solar panel in a dark room powering a light to run the solar panel…
A significant tipoff is on the website, where it says “HHO provides the atomic power of Hydrogen, while maintaining the stability of water”. In less scientific terms, it is claiming to be a nuclear reactor. I assure you, they’re not selling you a nuclear reactor.
I was fed up with the high gas price so I bought this kit to use water together with gas. I really wanted to save on my old junk that really drinks.
Don’t have full results yet but preliminary indications are quite good.
